Málaga Airport lost property
Lost something at AGP? Where the office is, who to email, and what to do if you’ve already flown home.
Losing a phone, passport or bag at an airport is stressful enough without hunting for the right office. At Málaga, it matters where you lost it: the terminal and the aircraft are handled by different people. Get that right and you’ll reach the correct desk first time.
Lost in the terminal → Aena
Items lost anywhere in the airport buildings — security trays, toilets, lounges, baggage hall — go to Aena’s lost property office (objetos perdidos):
- Where: Terminal 3, first floor, check-in area — behind check-in desks 363–385.
- Email: objetosperdidosagp@aena.es
- Phones: +34 952 048 837 / +34 952 048 851
Email is usually the fastest route: describe the item precisely, say where and when you lost it, include your flight number and date, and attach a photocopy of your passport or ID card — Aena requires ID with every claim. The office will search and contact you if the item is found.
Lost on the aircraft → the airline
Anything left on board belongs to the airline or its handling agent, not Aena. At AGP the main handlers include Aviapartner, Menzies, Groundforce and Iberia — but don’t guess: contact your airline’s baggage or customer service first and they’ll route you correctly.
Make your claim count
- Be specific: “black iPhone 14 in a blue case, left in the security tray at ~09:40” beats “phone”.
- Include the flight: flight number, date and roughly where you were in the terminal.
- Attach ID: a passport or ID photocopy is required with the claim.
- Act fast: unclaimed items aren’t kept forever — report it the moment you notice.
